South Africa has once again won the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards ‘Favourite African Kidfluencer’ category thanks to little social media superstar Kairo Forbes!

Global (17 July 2024) — South African celebrity child star and ‘kidfluencer’ Kairo Forbes has walked away with a big win from the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards after winning the ‘Favourite African Kidfluencer’ category!

Other South African youngsters were also in the running for the ‘Favourite African Kidfluencer’ title, including sibling musicians Biko’s Manna and Lethukuthula Bhengu, who won the award last year.

At the tender age of 8 years old, little Kairo’s name is already known across the world, and the kidfluencer boasts a following of 1.5 million people. Loved by locals first and foremost, last year she won the Kid Influencer of the Year Award at the South African Social Media Awards.

Who is Kairo Forbes?

Kairo is the daughter of none-other-than DJ Zinhle and the late Kiernan Forbes (AKA) who bubbles with tons of personality and embodies her parents star-power so much so, Glamour magazine once said she’s might just be giving them a run for their money.

Taking to reflect on the award, the young star thanked her family and all those who voted for her, adding that this award is for her dad.

“I’m very happy and I appreciate your support. I hope that I inspire other kids to have dreams and that they family that will support their dreams. Thank you, God for all your blessings. This one’s for you Daddy!”
