Edu-Paw’s recent spa day initiative was a resounding success, bringing joy and happiness to both the animals and the children involved.
Durban, South Africa (05 September 2024) – What’s better than providing support and basic care to dogs that have been victims of unfair circumstances such as neglect and cruelty? Mmh, how’s about pampering them and showering them with tons of love?!
That’s exactly what the volunteers of Edu-Paw got up to recently. Volunteers from Edu-Paw hosted a spa day for dogs at SPCA Toti and the pets of their own volunteers.
The event held on Saturday, 31 August, was a wonderful opportunity for local children to learn about the importance of keeping their furry friends clean and healthy.
The children from the local community learned how regular baths with effective shampoo can help protect their dogs from ticks, fleas, and mites.
“It was heartwarming to see them so eager to care for their pets and put their new skills into practice.
“Elihle did an amazing job pampering Max. After a refreshing bath and a cosy towel dry, Max enjoyed some warm sunshine followed by a thorough brushing,” the educational NPO shared.
The great initiative was beneficial for both the animals and the children involved. It brought bright smiles and wagging tails and fostered animal care education.
