Serbia Dancing

Six talented young dancers from Northriding, Johannesburg are heading to Serbia to compete in the International Dance Fest Novi Sad this November.

The dancers from ‘Ministry of Dance Studio’ have collected a large amount of gold medals between themselves. Six of the dancers that competed in the 2017 Eurodance Finals were invited to join 40 dancers from across South Africa to compete in Serbia for the International Dance Fest Novi this November.

The six dancers include Tanna Dove, Zarize van Rensburg, Keira-ann van Rensburg, Madison van Niekerk, Bokang Rantsolase and their instructor Tiffany Woodward. During their Eurodance competition they each came home with gold.

South Africa is there to compete against 80 other countries. Each dancer has to perform 4 solo’s, a tough task according to Tiffany Woodward. There will be around 3500 participants in the competition.

“The program of the festival envisages extracurricular activities in the form of educational seminars, club presentations and familiarization with the host city.”

The six dancers are extremely excited for their trip to Serbia and are proud to represent the country as well as their studio, Ministry of Dance.

We look forward to following their progress during this journey and will keep you posted on the results.
