The Good Things Guy navigated for Terence Marsh in their Red-Lined Nissan Navara on the Harrismith 400, round four of the South African Cross Country Auto Series.
Round four of the 2017 South African Cross Country Series (SACCS) took place in KwaZulu-Natal this weekend, with the inaugural Harrismith 400 event adding a new dimension to the country’s toughest motorsport championship chase.
Brent Lindeque joined the Red-Lined Nissan Navara team for his first time high speed cross country motorsport adventure.
“Things I can add to my bucket list… thanks to Nissan South Africa and Red-Lined Motoring Adventure, I’ve become an official off road cross country motor-racing navigator.”
“That pretty much means I sat in the hot-seat of the car and traveled up to 200km/h while off road in the bush working on a race-book, an odometer and a gps.”
Terence Marsh and celebrity co-driver Brent Lindeque in the Red-Lined Nissan Navara finished on the podium with a third place in the FIA Class, and a 10th overall.
Marsh was ecstatic with the placement and overly impressed with his co-drivers navigation skills.
“What a great day in the office. 3rd overall in the international FIA class together with a top 10 overall finish in the production class with my guest celebrity navigator Brent Lindeque!”
“The man was absolutely brilliant on debut in the hot seat… like a duck to water I tell you!!”
Meanwhile, it seems that the bug may have bitten Lindeque as he is ready for the next racing adventure.
“Also, I had the most flipping incredible time & cannot wait to do it all again!”
