In a moment that will forever be etched in her memory, 18-year-old Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg was crowned Miss World South Africa 2024. The champion for change is eager to use her newfound platform to inspire others and advocate for important social causes.

Sun City, South Africa (10 October 2024) – At just 18 years old, Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg has made history as the second-ever Miss World South Africa titleholder.

The digital and marketing executive impressed the judges with her Beauty with a Purpose project, Never Too Young to Advocate (NTYTA), a digital platform focused on creating global visibility as well as audibility for the youth.

Zoalize has officially commended her duties as Miss World South Africa and will further represent the country at the 72nd Miss World pageant in February 2025.

As Zoalize embarks on her journey as Miss World South Africa, she hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting the challenges may seem.

Reflecting on her major triumph, not only for herself but for her country as well, Zoalize said that entering the pageant was a second chance for herself. She felt honoured and blessed to be named Miss World South Africa and hopes that she can inspire anyone who may have felt like giving up on a dream.

“Don’t ever let anyone tell you that it is not possible as your Miss World South Africa, I will continue to remind our people that in the midst of adversity and uncertainty, you have to remember that you are here for a reason.

“Start where you are, work with what you have, and use your unique talents to be the enabler to your own version of success. When you lead with that feeling in your heart that motivates you to keep going despite anything that is called purpose. Tap into that and push yourself to be in the rooms and spaces you want to be in,” Zoalize wrote in a post.

Zoalize considers herself a living testimony that the art of achieving what you desire starts with a will to never give up.

The rising star has decided to step away from her marketing role to focus solely on her responsibilities as Miss World South Africa.

Her goal is to fully commit herself to her new platform, where she will work to raise awareness about important social issues and initiatives that support the youth.
