Another dancing traffic officer has stolen the road show with fine-tuned, subtle moves that scream demure and ‘I’m just waiting for Tyla to see this’.

Port Elizabeth, South Africa (02 September 2024) — We’re not sure if there’s a dance-led incentive programme going around for traffic officers in South Africa, but if there isn’t, there should be. Another dancing traffic officer has busted out all the “very demure” moves; revealed to be the kind of cop who consistently makes Port Elizabeth’s mornings that much better.

After TikTok user ‘BJaded’ shared a clip of the cop adding, “There are people who wake up like this” in reference to his early morning moves, it wasn’t long until fellow Eastern Cape drivers (and South Africans in general) had a field day filled with feel-good notions in the comment section.

Something about the subtle hip rolls and his seemingly choreographed direction made all drivers feel a little better about life. With efficient sass and traffic control to boast, we’re not sure if this officer will do a world tour of South African intersections or end up as a backup dancer for the likes of Tyla!

South Africans React to the Demure Dancing Cop

“When SABC3 said the stage is yours, he said ‘say less’.”

“Love this uncle, he makes my day even when I’m late.”

“I love our country, this would set my tone for my entire day.”

“I look forward to seeing him every time I’m in PE”.

“The perfect start to your morning and end of day if he’s on your route, which most take in Port Elizabeth just for him. 100% love this guy. Makes you smile no matter what you going through [at the moment].”

“If I love my job was a person.”

“Just the right amount of sass to get the day started.”
