Whether you’re a seasoned Padel player or a complete beginner, everyone is encouraged to participate in Cotlands’ Padel tournament to raise funds for early education programs for vulnerable children.
Johannesburg, South Africa (11 October 2024) – Padel is the new kid on the block which has many folks excited to try themselves out on the fast-paced racket sport that combines the best elements of tennis and squash.
Hopping on to the trend is the non-profit organisation Cotlands, which is calling on all Padel enthusiasts and beginners to participate in its upcoming Padel Tournament, which is just around the corner.
“We need YOU to make it a fun-filled, family-friendly day for an incredible cause!
“Whether you’re a pro or have never held a racket before, this event is all about having fun and making a difference,” Cotlands said.
Cotlands’ vision is to see children thrive in their preschool years by offering play-based learning opportunities. All proceeds raised from the fun sporting event will go towards providing early education for vulnerable children.
With a play area and pop-up toy library, the day promises to be a treat for young, old and in-between!
“Let’s fill up the courts, enjoy a great day together, and make a lasting impact. Let’s come together and create an amazing day of padel, laughter, and family memories.”
The Pedal Tournament will be held at the Balwin Thaba Eco Village on Sunday, 20 October. The entry fee is R250 and racket hire is R50.
